Our inspector, Cameron, is a veteran of pool safety inspections. He started when the new pool safety laws were introduced in December 2010 and has since completed more than 5000 inspections.

He has inspected pool barriers right across the property spectrum from suburban rentals to semi-rural acreages to high-rise apartment buildings to multi-million dollar riverfront properties.

Cameron has seen just about every pool safety issue possible and has come up with practical, cost-effective and aesthetic solutions to address the compliance issues. He is very comfortable discussing alternative solutions with owners, property managers and builders.

With four children and four grandchildren, Cameron is well aware of the risks of young children around swimming pools. “It’s important to remember that while nothing will ever replace close supervision, it’s critical to prevent access by making pool fences and gates compliant.”
